Ink Spot Afternoon
Spent the day at The Ink Spot Press in Brighton, where I will be printing the new book. For now, though, I am printing nonsense lines (can you see them?) After teaching bookbinding classes for the last few months, I need to get back in the press habit. In that spirit, I am also taking a screen printing course here. Print print print!
The Ink Spot is a great Brighton asset. Two Vandercook SP-15s, (one in for repairs,) one FAG, tons of type (some of it Victorian!) and all kinds of the unexpected things that you find in letterpress studios. And, of course, the screen printing. You can visit them in real life, or find them online.
