Bookbinding Summer School: No rest for the wicked.

My Bookbinding Summer School course continues here at Ink Spot. On Thursday, (also known as “Day Three,”) we threw ourselves into completing our drumleaf bindings. We gritted our teeth, furrowed our brows, cracked our knuckles and got to work.

By lunchtime, these babies were done. Have a look at our Total Book Victory:

But there is no time to sit around admiring ourselves! Back to work, accordion book style. Here we are organizing our folded folios for another variation of accordion book, to be completed this very day.

And as a special reward for those who hung around after class, even more bookbinding. An impromptu books-that-are-fun-to-do-with-kids session kicked off at 5pm.

Today is our last day of class. We will bind like it is our last day on earth.
