I am squinting into the sun today as I emerge from a teaching cave. August was a marathon of week-long summer school courses, weekend workshops, and afternoon sessions. I am so behind on everything else in my life that all I can manage today is a list of things I have taught in the last 31 days. Forgive this exhausted list-based post. Lists are all that I have left. Lists are all that make sense.

As I type this I am in a friend’s dining room, making use of the internet that has not yet arrived in our new flat. It’s been weeks. Cross your fingers for me. And stay tuned for progress reports on the new bindery. . .
What are those ‘divider’ things used for? I have one, and have no idea why!
Ohhhhh katylyn! Dividers are such a wonderful tool that perhaps I will devote an entire post to answering your question! Find yours and put them in a handy place for soon you will not be without them!
SB (or Little Bear, as we sometimes say) you’re a Supershero, and don’t forget it for one minute!!!!! RTR!
Thanks Suzanne! RTR!
Wonder Woman. Lay aside for one moment* your spandex suit of many colours (!) and your cape in which you can flit effortlessly from hither hemisphere to yon; then get some de-serve-ed downtime.
* Or maybe two moments. Anyway. Does anyone hither or yon know the difference between one moment or two, or a hundred? And which is better for the purpose at hand: yon or thither?
Thanks, Glenn! I am taking it easy this week as you instruct. whew.
Hi Sarah! Well, that’s great you had moments to make that list of achievements! Your book binding course was MEMORABLE! Thanks again! Louise
Thank YOU Louise! I had a great week and I am so glad that you and Jill came from so far!
You are amazing! And, as someone who loves lists, I am in awe!
Great table from Ikea by the way.
And, I agree with you, dividers are a wonderful tool, we jewellers could not live/work without them.
Thanks! Yes that Ikea table is the greatest. I am so happy with the new bindery that sometimes I just go stand in it and sigh.
